Scaffolding A Frame House

Standing 10 metres high with a base of 12 metres square this A frame house in Lower Hutt required the re-painting of its roof and ridge section.

Cantilevered scaffolding steps

Workzone were asked to provide a suitable scaffolding solution for the 2 month long project. Using the Layher Allround Lightweight standards and ledgers, they were able to configure the cantilevered steps with ease, and safely erect the scaffold as it went up.

Faster house scaffolding

“Using Layher [Allround scaffolding] made everything about the job faster, easier and safer to build” said Kurt Simpson of Workzone. “All of the gear had to be ferried up the long steep driveway so Layher’s Lightweight product and easy to stack system made life a lot easier for the guys on site”, he said.
