New Plymouth Girls High School
New Plymouth Girls High School has recently undergone refurbishments and DIALOG Fitzroy were contracted to provide access to replace the entire roof and earthquake strengthening on the brick works on the sides of the building.
The roof structure was constructed using Layher’s Aluminium lattice beams and the façade scaffold using Layher’s Allround modular system.
Steep school roof
Mark Dunn of DIALOG Fitzroy explains, “the steep angle of the roof made for a challenging installation, this is where Layher’s Engineering services really helped to provide solid solutions. The build had to be completed in a short time frame before school holidays so speed and efficiency were key to finishing on time.”
Thanks to DIALOG Fitzroy for the use of these photos.
