Mountain Road Containment Roof
TBS Group were asked to erect over 88 tonnes of scaffolding around Block 4 of the Mountain Road Apartments in Auckland. The scaffold allowed full access to all exterior faces of the building. A Layher Keder Roof XL, measuring 36m × 30m, provided weather protection for a complete re-clad and re-roof of this complex.
Massive Containment Roof
In addition to supporting the massive free spanning roof, the scaffold was designed for high wind loadings, using buttress bays within a very confined foot print and without tying into the building itself. “Completed in a timely manner and without incident, the project was a great achievement by the team, given the size of the site and limited time availability”, said Craig.
