Layher Goes Live
That was the potential for this power pylon scaffold built by Central Scaffold at the St Kilda Subdivision Establishment in Cambridge. The scaffold provided safe access for installation of high voltage overhead lines going underground via pylons and an enclosed capsule for installation of conductors.
South Korean client
Geoff Hines of Central Scaffolds commented “with a South Korean client doing the installation – communication was one of the challenges for this scaffold job”.
A precise design was developed with help from Layher and this design supported better communication with the client and an efficient installation. The client was very impressed with design aspect of the job. The skills and experience of Central Scaffold and the ease of use of Layher Allround contributed to the success of this job which has resulted in on-going work with the client.
