Church Road Winery Stage
Church Road Winery in the sunny Hawkes Bay was host to a series of concerts during summer which culminated with internationally acclaimed DJ, Fatboy Slim. Rocket Scaffolding were commissioned to build a stage and roof that would allow for variations to suit each event. The 30m wide by 20m deep Layher EV86 stage was covered using Layher’s Keder Roof XL temporary roof system, and at its apex measured 18m high.
Stage floor completed
Todd Price of Rocket Scaffolding commented, “Layher’s Allround Lightweight scaffolding system and event deck [EV86] componentry, along with the [Layher] Keder Roof XL provided speed and efficiency, allowing the build to be fully completed in just 4 days. The stage floor itself was completed in two and a half hours, and the roof took just one day with a crew of three guys.”
Layher made it possible
Working with the Layher design team Rocket Scaffolding was able to come up with a design to suit the needs of their client. “A big thanks to the Layher team. Without them it may not have been possible”, commented Todd.
