Bomb Station Scaffold Tower

This “Bomb Station” was built for the Flava NZ Bomb Competition situated on the picturesque Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake). Euro Scaffold Solutions, based in Rotorua, were contracted to provide a tower where bombers can jump from platforms staged at 2m, 5m, 8m and 10m high.

With assistance from the Layher design team they erected a scaffold tower in the water using Layher’s Allround modular scaffolding system.

Challenging bomb station

Neil Lunt of Euro Scaffold Solutions explains, “this project was particularly challenging to assemble as the base of the scaffold was submerged in Lake Tikitapu. It required the team to think outside of the square. The guys did a great job and the project ran according to plan. The client thanked Euro Scaffold Solutions for delivering another successful event.”
