1 Queen Street
Geeves Auckland delivered a craned scaffold solution for 1 Queen Street Auckland. Mike Wild of Geeves Auckland explains “with the Layher components we were able to crane the scaffold modules in place, which minimised the need to work at height. This also reduced the risk of dropped objects. The scaffold sat approximately 85m high on the 21st floor the Auckland high rise.”
“The many different high-quality components that Layher has to offer made the installation of the scaffold easy. Being able to set the lift height at any increment using rosette clamps minimised alterations needed to raise and lower decks to suit different trades,” said Mike.
LT McGuinness project manager, Adam Guile said “Mike and his team from Geeves did a fantastic job providing scaffold solutions for our project. 1 Queen Street required a myriad of scaffold solutions, at times complex and very difficult, but the lads at Geeves hit the nail on the head every time. They also cultivated a fantastic relationship with our team, which made working together a breeze. We thank them for their work and attitude throughout the course of the project”.
