Railway Pedestrian Ramp and Bridge
As part of Auckland’s on-going rail and road gentrification programme, Camelspace were called upon to construct a temporary pedestrian ramp and bridge over the rail line near Panmure.
Built in 4 hours
Approximately 180m of pedestrian ramp and 16m of clear span bridge were built from standard Layher Allround. Impressively Camelspace built the clear span temporary pedestrian bridge from start to finish in less than 4 hours during a planned block-of-line.
Standard Layher Allround diagonal braces were effectively utilised to create a quasi-truss showing the versatility and strength of the Layher Allround system.
