Raroa Helideck Access
The helideck onboard the vessel Raroa required maintenance work in the form of blasting and painting. Mark Dunn of DIALOG Fitzroy explains,
“with such a complex structure, and the vessel being offshore, this project required a significant amount of planning and preparation work.”
Fast access
Mark went on to say, “by using Layher Allround Lightweight Scaffolding, and engineering support from Layher who produced a fit for purpose design, the speed of erection was really fast, especially when compared to tube and clip. The project was a great team effort. We felt Layher really worked as a partner, understood our client’s requirements and ensured their
designs were completed early in the process.”
Helideck expectations
Most important “the client’s expectations were exceeded with regards to design, communication and the quality of access solution provided”, said Mark.
