Instant Higher Education Access

Instant Access were contracted to provide this very high scaffolding solution. The scaffold enabled access for maintenance to the roof area of the NZEI Te Riu Roa building, Head Office for the New Zealand Education Institute in Wellington.

“At approximately 25m long and over 30m high, our client was struggling to find a way to safely access the cladding without building a full scaffold up from the ground”, said Joshua Mossman of Instant Access NZ.

Cleverly designed scaffold access

Instant Access designed and installed this scaffolding solution using Layher Allround Scaffolding and placed on the building’s external roof walkway. The cleverly designed scaffold cantilevered 0.73m from the outside edge of the building and then up the cladding – this provided excellent access for the contractors.
